The Round (CT87K)
Honeywell Home · Price on request
Beautifully made.
Never connected.
Thermostats, espresso machines and stereos with no Wi-Fi, no app and no account. Simple to use, and built to last.
Why Knob and Dial
Everything got connected. Nothing got simpler.
So we list the opposite.
Overconnected
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an app and an account, added to things that never needed them.
Overcomplicated
Pairing screens and menus where a knob used to be. Simple things should be simple to use.
Not made to last
If it needs an update every few months to keep working, it stops working when the updates do.
